This is what it is like at an orphanage in West Timor, Indonesia. Dear friends of ours were given babies in 2001 so they started an orphanage. They now operate 12 of them throughout Indonesia. The Orphanage in Atambua has a hand dug well that is dry due to the lack of rain. Hand dug wells are common in West Timor but the orphanage needs a bore hole and capacity not only dependent on rain.
