Mercy Waikabubak Orphanage
David Marshall Kealy with orphans on Sumba Island, Indonesia
At the start of 2025 David Marshall Kealy with son Tim spent time with Ministry Partner Mercy Indonesia. Following an invitation to visit various ministries plans were finalized to dedicate a new radio station building for RADIO STATION CAHAYA SUMBA.
If indeed a picture is worth a thousands words take a look at the slideshow below. The two week assignment in Indonesia with son Tim included lectures and dedication of projects on Bali and Sumba Islands where Mercy Indonesia helps thousands of people. Founder Pastor Paulus Wiratno invited and hosted us while dedicating a new radio station building for Radio Cahaya Sumba FM. Visiting the Elder Home again in their new buildings on Bali was a blessing. Additionally four water tanks were dedicated for Poguwatu Village on Sumba Island. six men traveled to Waikabubak to take the tanks back and install them near the three water tanks that fill from rainwater off of metal roofs of the school and churches.
In October 2014 upon the return from working with Ministry Partner Mercy Indonesia our faithful webmaster who had encouraged David for over a year to publish a BLOG told him we had a BLOG, "but nothing was in it!".
That was the start of the monthly musings that have followed all these years. Why not take a cruse down memory lane and review some of the BLOGs that have followed. |
The reason we are able to help the incredible global Ministry Partners we help is through the gifts we receive to help them reach their vast audiences for Christ. They show the love of God in measurable ways that we could NEVER do alone. That is the basis of this ministry touching lives through local partners.

Thanksgiving is an important time of the year. It is a time of family and friends gathering to celebrate. It is the beginning of the holiday season including Thanksgiving then Christmas and New Years celebrations.
How about raising the importance of being thankful beyond one day to a lifestyle that includes being thankful all the time. It's Thanksliving. Let's live out our thankfulness every day.
That is the theme of this ministry. The ministry partners we support are not only encouraged but are blessed beyond measure as we work together helping them share their belief in God.
In 2024 a year of international turmoil our donors have poured out of their plenty to support Jewish and Ukrainian refugees in Turkey, providing agricultural food projects and feeding in South Africa, Providing food, personal hygiene and clothing in Liberia, Helping orphans and widows in Indonesia, providing hope in Nepal following earthquakes leaving devastation and loss of everything to people in remote areas.

Living Hope operates an Agricultural Training Program
Helping people earn their way out of poverty through a practical agricultural and business training program develops future farmers for South Africa. The agricultural training program of Living Hope, that is bringing hope and breaking despair in South Africa is a training program that addresses the need for Africa’s, long-term food, insecurity, and unemployment challenges as they provide hands-on, practical farmer training. The goal is to create graduates with the knowledge and skills and experience to grow food. Graduates become successful farmers while growing vegetables from “seed to sale“ that they learned in the 18 month Agriculture Training School; the primary purpose of the school.
About Us
Reaching People far from God supports global indigenous Partner Ministries.
Ministries we have worked closely with for more than 35 years. They each demonstrate strong measurable ability to share the love of God as exemplified by the voice and hands of Jesus. Jesus taught and he healed; we help them in numerous ways using the model of Jesus. They evangelize using media, operating Bible Schools, starting churches, teaching leadership development, and meeting health and social needs in a variety of creative ways that are culturally sensitive.
What we do:
