URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
'August 2026'
Dear friends,
I am going to give you some updates about the flood disaster that just happened in the past few days.
I am going to give you some updates about the flood disaster that just happened in the past few days.
By this time, all of you may have heard about the devastating flood in Nepal that has swept away thousands of homes, people, and entire areas. The flood originated from a glacial lake near the Tibet border and came wiping out anything in its path on Trisuli river.
When I woke up on August 26, I read a message from my friend who had forwarded a link to a video. When I opened it, I couldn't even believe it was real. The footage was traumatic to watch.
I am in close contact with friends in that area. My family is far away from the affected area, and all are safe. We have ministry partners who have churches in the area. Although all of my friends are safe, their relatives and church family members have lost loved ones, and many have lost everything.
The information is not yet complete. So far, more than 2,000 people are still missing, and more than 700 people have been found dead. Among the missing are more than 600 foreigners.

Our partner church has been sheltering hundreds of people, feeding them, and caring for them every day. We know their resources are going to run out quickly. We have been working in this area with goal to help local church disciple thousands of youth, and at this time, we want to stand hand in hand when the local body of Christ is extending their compassionation hands by being hands and feet of Jesus.
Please pray with us that God comforts those with traumatized hearts, wounded people, and those who have lost their loved ones and homes. During difficult times like this, God uses the body of Christ, both locally and internationally, joining hands together to bring healing, comfort, care, support, and relief to those who are facing dark and difficult times.
We served thousands of people during the 2015 and 2024 earthquakes, and now our team will start working with people in this area again.
In the second phase, we will collect data and identify people who need continued support for the winter that is coming soon. We will supply blankets, jackets, and other warm clothes for families to survive through the winter.
Thank you for praying for Nepal. Please continue to pray for government workers, nonprofit organizations, local churches, and ministries that are actively helping people. Please also pray for good weather so that the rescue and relief work can go well

NEPAL SEPTEMBER 2025
Despite political and economic upheaval and the deep frustration many people feel God continues to grow His church in Nepal. Lives are being transformed by the gospel, and those who encounter Christ are never the same again. Nepal, a predominantly Hindu nation, is still shaped by the caste system - marked by segregation, favoritism, and discrimination. Yet, Jesus is bringing harmony and change. He redeems people spiritually, calling them out of darkness into His marvelous light, and that transformation is also reflected socially and culturally. In Christ, the caste system is no longer a barrier; believers now worship, serve, and work together, bringing healing and hope to their communities.

A training building That David Marshall Kealy designed is completed and is being used on the terraced site where our partner ministry is training staff as they share the Good News of Jesus and the importance of the Nepalese to know Him.
Remote areas of Nepal does not hinder the spread of the gospel
The first project was to get water to the remote site. Water is the first requirement to build with concrete building blocks. That was accomplished by using water from streams up the mountain that was available.
Hope camp is for children to learn about Jesus.
Hope Camp helped us reach 750 children in remote mountains where the an earthquake was hit hard. By reaching the school, we provided warm double-sided fleece jackets for children in four villages, and our friends could share God's love in compassionate ways. They also founded a church and encouraged a young family who led the church in a remote area and spent two nights there.
Combined with Christmas Kids outreach and Hope Camp, we have reached 2400 children in 22 locations by sharing gifts of warm Jackets and the gospel with them. Let's continue to pray that God's love and his words may grow in these hearts and minds and transform their lives with hope and a future with God's kingdom.

Q & A with David Marshall Kealy
Q One of questions the Kealys hear the most often is, “where are you going next?”
A As our ministry following God’s leading has led us to numerous countries the perception is that we continue that process. Well, we do but it is based upon helping partner ministries we have met and worked with over the years using ZOOM, WhatsApp, messages, and the internet of things. Cost effective for us and this allows us to send money for their use.
The answer is, for the amount of money it would take to travel to be with and help our partners they could use the money to greater benefit; and they do.
Q The second question, “is Sharon going with you?”
A You might have guessed, The answer is, for the amount of money it would take to travel to be with and help our partners they could use the money to greater benefit. READ ON ~ MORE LATER
Q How do you help?
A Based upon need, it varies. It could be putting in a new well and or water delivery system, train students at Bible schools, help build village churches, or help feed pastor families who need money to buy food during the COVID pandemic. More specifically it includes consultation, project planning, budgeting, and architectural design.
Q Is it a rumor, you’re going to NEPAL?
A NO it is NOT a rumor!
Yes we have accepted an invitation for me to travel soon to Nepal.
Dear David, are you willing to Travel to Nepal yes, sometime this fall?
The main purpose would be to encourage our team you have prayed for and supported and to visit a location where we need a training center for a remote area.
If you can come, we would like to use your engineering skills to develop our land and design landscape and also help us design our future campus for conference hall, training classroom, kitchen and dining, guest rooms, students dorms and special cabins. The location is in a mountain resort area and we are praying that God will provide the resources.

The Story of the Messiah
Ministry outreach on radio
The life of Jesus Christ the Messiah as told by a Nepalese father to his adopted son is a series of 56 ~ 15 minute radio programs. On local radio in Nepal they are popular, especially during Christmas and Easter seasons .
Local radio stations provide information to residents during times of tragedy and this is the new norm now. Locally operated Christian format stations are operational in Nepal. They give direction and guidance for help and offer hope to all in need during the trying times.
Listeners write . . .
Hi, your program is very good, I listen to Story of the Messiah when it is on radio, and haven’t had chance to hear it lately. I work in radio company and with my network we have over 20 FM radio stations covering throughout Nepal. I would like to have the Story of the Messiah programs go on air through all those radio stations. Please let me know how to contact you for more details.
Story Of the Messiah (SOM) production was translated and produced in studios in Nepal.
It was recorded and mixed and tested in 56 episodes. Then it was released for broadcast on many FM stations.
How it started . . .
It was produced using a Nepali family to tell the story. They did this story so that the churches of Nepal and Nepalese around the world would be able to listen to the whole story of Jesus Christ. The Story of the Messiah doesn’t talk just about what Jesus did, it also answers questions like, “Why did Jesus do that?” All of the writing of the dialogue in the Nepalese family was completed and it resulted in a 56 series audio that is played on local radio stations in Nepal.
Testimonial
Hi my name is Anita, I am a young girl from Brahmin family, I came from Traditional religion, but I truly trust in God. I have the Bible with me and read it. I have not been baptized yet but have received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I have not been able to go to Church but I hate worshiping idols. God has fulfilled my heart. Some times I struggle being a girl from Brahmin family because when I share the good news of Jesus to others, they ridicule me, it hurts me. I would love to use my time doing God’s work, please pray for me.
