Man of God ~ do you know one?
Will you recognize one when you meet him?
On a domestic flight this month I met a MOG. He was working for most of the flight. We did have a chance to talk late in the flight and I realized he was a MOG. He asked about my life and ministry. Why? He must have noted something about my spiritual relationship with God. I asked him about his work. Realizing he has a heart for God and amazingly we live very close together in Southern California. What were the chances of that? It was a God ordained meeting of men seeking to follow God and please Him in all we do.
A plan followed for us to connect further and meet for lunch when our travel and work allowed. That lunch was yesterday at a restaurant near his work. It was enjoyable and confirmed we had a lot in common and agreed to met again. In closing I asked him about a pin on his lapel, It noted Colossians 3:2 and he quoted it to me confirming indeed he is a MOG. Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.“
