Pre-Departure Things are coming together. I want to say thanks a ton to everyone who has supported me both through prayer and donations. It is very nice to know I have so many people who care so much about me. I feel the love, thank you!
The August 7th departure date is quickly approaching and I am grinding on all gears to make sure I am ready. This includes doctors’ visits, vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and in the processes of getting a student visa, yet there is still much more to be done. To be honest though, I have enjoyed it. What is a little unnerving is that in less than two months, for the first time in my life, I will no longer be living in my parent’s house. I will be moving out, to live in a country on the other side of the world. Leaving my family and friends to embark on a journey that will change my life and hopefully have a positive impact on the people I meet. I am preparing mentally, physically, and spiritually. And though there is uncertainty of what is to come, I know God will do great things through me.
